There appears to be some confusion regarding whether or not Mr. Ashby will be appearing in Resident Evil 3: Extinction as Albert Wesker. First of all, IMDB lists him as in the movie, but doesn't say who he'll play. Several sites report that Peter O'Meara is playing Albert Wesker, but several sites also report that he was replaced by Mr. Ashby. Right now, we're not sure what is going on. I guess it's just a "wait and see" situation.
As a side note, Mr. Ashby has mentioned that he's friends with Paul W.S. Anderson (Mortal Kombat's director. And he directed the first Resident Evil movie and and is producing the second and third ones.
