Wanting to research his role as an air force pilot, a popular actor (Tom Slade) is assigned to a stiff air force pilot named Paul Watkins. Despite a rocky start, Slade convinces Watkins' superiors to allow them to do a "sample run" together in the plane, flying over the gulf. Needless to say, the enemy shoots them down and the adventure begins as they try to survive Iraqi interrogation and a crazy pilot who wants to prove himself.
